There are two ways in which I can help you. One option is for us to talk. I am a fully qualified, very experienced registered psychotherapist and accredited counsellor, based in Lincoln. Counselling or psychotherapy is incredibly helpful for all sorts of people for all sorts of reasons.
By talking through your problems I can help you to understand and accept your situation or demystify why you are feeling the way that you do. Together they provide you with techniques to help you to cope so that you are not so overwhelmed by the emotions you feel.
I know that it takes courage to get in touch with a psychotherapist/counsellor, but don’t be afraid, I’m here to help. Talking to me might just be the thing you need to do to help you to understand why you are feeling the way that you do.
Living in the moment practices that bring peace of mind
The other option is for me to teach you mindfulness. Mindfulness is about being aware of the moment that we are in non-judgmentally. The present moment. The only moment that we can control. The past has gone and the future is not yet here. Mindfulness helps you to accept that your thoughts are just thoughts and are not necessarily the reality.
My mindfulness training is based on scientific research and analysis combined with relaxation practices developed over 1000’s of years. It is now used by many businesses, organisations and individuals with great success.

Supervision is a BACP and UKCP Ethical requirement for good practice. I also believe it should be creative, exploratory and enjoyable space held in the container of clear thinking and ethical boundaries.
