I believe counselling or psychotherapy supports my clients to see what is going on in their lives from a different view point or perspective. Literally to Re-Vision how you see yourself and how you see the world you inhabit. This includes the relationships you are in, your work environment or your home life.
Speaking to friends and family is an important support, but sometimes it is difficult to really be open and honest for fear of how they may respond.
Coming to a qualified trained professional counsellor and psychotherapist is a completely different experience. One where we can work together to see and understand what may be happening, in a confidential and non judgemental environment.
The first step is always the hardest. Don’t wait for a crisis to happen to look into counselling or psychotherapy, for the sake of your mind and for the sake of your body.
