Talking through your problems can help you better understand and come to terms with whatever situation you find yourself in. Talking helps demystify why you are feeling the way that you do and supports you so that you are not so overwhelmed by the emotions you feel.
You can talk one to one in my Psychotherapy room in my garden or we can also include taking psychotherapy outside using nature outdoors to better understand your own nature. My Embodied Relational Therapy Training also supports my ability to deepen our work using the body as a seat of your emotions and many memories.

The other option is for me to teach you mindfulness. Mindfulness is about being aware of the moment that we are in non-judgmentally. The present moment. The only moment that we can control. The past has gone and the future is not yet here. Mindfulness helps you to accept that your thoughts are real but are not necessarily the truth.
My mindfulness training is backed by scientific research and analysis showing that these simple but powerful practices developed over 1000’s of years can support you to make choices and step out of doing and into experiencing with a new awake awareness. It has been shown to be so effective that many businesses, organisations and individuals are using mindfulness with great success.

My training as a psychotherapist and supervisor is Integrative, informed by Psychosynthesis, Jungian, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, person centered, ecopsychology, wild therapy, body psychotherapy and Mindfulness. I have considerable experience as a group and 1:1 supervisor, working with trainee and qualified therapists. I have successfully taken trainee therapists through their training and qualified therapists through the BACP Accreditation process. I aim to work with the supervisee where they are, offering some of my own experience, methodologies and background to support and enhance the work. I gained my certificate in Integrative Supervision in 2010 and Post Graduate Diploma for individual and group in 2016 and am now a UKCP Registered supervisor.
